Not only do we promise excellent care and little waiting; we also promise to be among your most affordable healthcare options. Insurance copayments for urgent care are much lower than those for emergency-room visits, whose copayments often are more than four times urgent care’s and whose wait times average several hours.

We are transparent about our pricing, which is useful in particular for patients without insurance, and we break down pricing in a simple way.

Insurance

We accept most major insurance plans but we also accept many others; please contact us about your individual network or with other questions regarding insurance.

Per standard procedure, we will collect your copayment and/or deductible (if applicable) at the time of service and bill your insurance company for the rest. Below is an abbreviated list, showing major insurance plans we accept.

  • Aetna
  • Anthem
  • Cigna
  • Medicare
  • Medical Mutual
  • UMR
  • United Healthcare
  • CareSource*
  • Molina*
  • Ohio Medicaid*
  • OSU Managed Health Plan**

*Accepted at our Hilliard and Gahanna locations

**Accepted at our Hilliard location only

For Patients Without Insurance

Like getting the care you need at one of our centers, ExpressMed's pricing policies are simple and straightforward.

If you do not have insurance coverage, our self-pay option starts at $100. If you have any additional labs or procedures the price goes up accordingly. Fees are due at the time of service.

The $100 minimum fee covers a visit with one of our health care providers. If during your visit any extra tests or procedures are required – for instance a strep test or an x-ray – the price of each item is added to your total. That new total is what will be due at the end of your visit.

Pricing For Services Not Covered By Insurance

Certain services are not covered by insurance. Examples are physical examinations, elective procedures and other medical services you may desire but are not related to an injury or urgent need. Please contact us any time with specific questions.
